Chapter Philanthropy

The sisters of the Eta Tau Chapter are involved in all facets of philanthropy. From Campus Kitchen to Prison Outreach, volunteer work to fundraising events, local endeavors to global issues, the girls commit themselves to whatever cause they're passionate about. Additionally, many members choose to join our KKG team participating in Bellringer, Georgetown University's annual bike ride which has raised over $4 million for cancer research since its founding in 2022. Beyond each sister's individual efforts, as a chapter we help support Active Minds. Active Minds is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting mental health among young adults age 14-25 and to reducing the stigma in the conversation surrounding mental health. We host fundraising events in both the fall and spring semesters including our annual Kappa Thrifts event where our members donate and sell clothes to the Georgetown community.
