Chapter Philanthropy
The sisters of the Eta Tau Chapter are involved in all facets of philanthropy. From Campus Kitchen to Prison Outreach, volunteer work to fundraising events, local endeavors to global issues, the girls commit themselves to whatever cause they're passionate about. Beyond each sister's individual efforts, as a Chapter we help fundraise and participate in Georgetown's Relay for Life. Relay for Life is the one of the biggest fundraisers on campus, raising over $120,000 last year for the American Cancer Society. In addition, this year our chapter will begin hosting our very first signature philanthropy event. We will work with Georgetown's Women's Center, Take Back the Night, and other student organizations to put on a "Kappa Karnival" that benefits the DC Rape Crisis Center.
